I own a health and beauty business, in Clearwater, that incorporates spa treatments and dancing for health. I have had, and currently have, quite a few engineers as Ballroom and Latin dance students. Not only do engineers make great dancers because of your high aptitude for learning new things, and great attention to detail, but I have found that my engineers gain a lot from the dancing, as it exercises both sides of the brain. I would love to explore the idea of hosting a ladies (or co-ed) social for your local group. Would you be interested? Getting girls involved in engineering is a prime motivation for me (I have 3 daughters) and we would love to have your support in enpowering and supporting girls in engineering. Please have someone call me or email me information so I can provide more information about the Science Center and our 44 plus STEM programs. Here at the Science Center of Pinellas, we are focusing our efforts to improve STEM education in our area.
